FQHR DAKOTA PRIDE
2021-born (5-year-old) homozygous roan Quarter Horse mare imported from the USA.
Ranch-bred brown roan mare from one of the leading ranch horse breeding operations in the USA, the “Froelich Legacy Quarter Horses” ranch.
Her bloodline is most likely not yet present in Hungary – and probably not even in Europe – which makes stallion selection easier.
Very strong build, calm and friendly temperament. Height: 157 cm (measured with stick).
Gets along well with other horses when kept in a group. Also calm when kept alone in a stall.
She is kept in a run-in box with us and only leaves manure outside in one specific spot. Very intelligent.
According to the breeder (Froelich Ranch), they breed “horses with excellent conformation, gentle disposition, and world-class bloodlines.” Dakota is exactly this type. Suitable not only for ranch work but also for competition. After rain, the pasture is full of sliding stop marks – she loves stopping.
At age 3, she received 2 months of basic training. She accepts the saddle without issues and is ridden in all three gaits.
Homozygous roan (= non-fading roan), meaning all her foals will be roan!
She has already had one beautiful foal by Mobsters Dream, and we are currently expecting the second one, also by Mobsters Dream (see below).
Easy to breed. No issues with farrier work, handling, or veterinary examinations.
6-panel test: negative for everything (N/N).
Currently in foal to Mobsters Dream. Expected foaling date: May 23, 2026.
Available without foal after weaning in October.
